It's pretty high in calcium so may contribute to bladder/kidney stones in susceptible pigs. So I don't feed it in large amounts or every day, like all calcium-rich veggies. There aren't many things I feed every day - a good rotation system stops you having to worry about what too much of any certain one thing can/ may do!
What about parsley and celantro? My pigs LOVE that stuff, and I feed it every day to them. I hope it's not high in calcium!! That would devistate them!
oh man, they'll be so dissapointed! Seriously, their favorite thing! I didn't even give them any today because thy wont eat anything else! I tried squash today and I don't think they liked it! So far they like carrots, parsley, cilantro, and that's it. No squash (banana), broccoli, celery, lettuce (romain) banana's, apples, or nectorines. Next week I'm going to try kale and tomatoes. Any other suggestions???
