I could watch you guys piggs if your going out or something. FOr a week or so. During WiNTER VACAtion... For free. Because i want to be able to see how good a piggy owner i am. and erm. Please no sick or pregnet ones.

Oh another option to find out if guinea pigs are right for you is to foster some from a rescue or shelter. I would let you watch mine but I live far far away from you and I am staying at home for the holidays!

I know. but i dont think i could foster. thats a really long period of time. And i will never be able to giveit back. And if i do this holiday thing. I could get a babby from somebody if there one is pregnet or something. :)

I foster Golden Retrievers for the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue and at first I thought it would be impossible to give them up. But, it is actually a very rewarding experience. I would recommend fostering to anyone....

kool kool. but fostering dogs will be cool also.

Umm... doesn't this seem a little bit strange to you, what you just asked people? I mean, you asked everyone who you don't even know to pet-sit their pig over the holiday.. sounds strange to me, because I don't think anyone would let a stranger keep their pig. Maybe you should try adopting or fostering one?? Or finding a person you know to pet-sit their pig? Just my opinion, I don't mean to sound rude.

I think it's a bit odd, but perhaps something could be worked out. If you'd really like to see what they're like, how about volunteering at a rescue, or fostering? I think those are the best ways to find out if they would be good for you or not. You have to have the time, the money, the space, etc. for the cavies, that's what counts the most.
