Coroplast Just finished building cage, but not sure if it will be okay

I don't have my guinea pigs yet but finished building the cage today. It is 4x2 grids. I've sectioned off a 1x2 part of it for the kitchen and made sort of a box out of coroplastj . I ended up having way more seams in the coroplast than I intended but used huricane tape over the seams.

Will these seams be problem in the long run? I intend to use fleece and u-hual blankets in the main part of the cage and carefresh in the kitchen.

The seams won't be a problem as long as you tape them from the outside. Pigs love tape....

I was wondering about tape too. I made a litter box and also a hay rack out of coroplast but I don't see a way of avoiding the tape.
