because you have no argument and now seem retarted to yourself in your own mind. What are you doing just keeping an eye out on my thread so you can just constantly argue with me and look stupid. I'm not caring about anythin you say to me. Go ahead be mad because i wanted a pet so i went and got one at the pet store. I;m not trying to save every pigs life in the world anyways. I just was trying to get on the forums and learn how to take care of my pig and everyone just starts to criticise me for buying from the pet store.

If this person is for real, you really need to educate yourself more. Rescues and shelters are not pet stores. They do not purchase animals from pet mills to make profits. They don't replace animals with the profits they (pet stores) make. Animals shelters and rescues never make profits. They do not buy animals from people. Yes, many of the animals in shelters and rescues came from mills, bybs and pet stores, but when you adopt them, the mills, bybs and pet stores do not get your money to continue their slaughter houses.

If you want to learn to care for your pet, the first thing you need to learn is that you should never buy from a pet store.

No we aren't. Instead of us going to a pet store and giving them MORE money we are taking in an animal that was either already purchased or ignorantly bred. By rescuing, the pet store or breeder got paid once...by someone else...we rescue the "dumped" animal...denying the pet store/breeder our money.

I'm just preventing them from being bought from a stupid little kid and then being ignored and put in a shelter.... Im just helping the pigs in my own way.

You have become the "stupid little kid". You are here looking how to take care of your pet. Something you should have done before you got it. Something you could have done back in April under your original name of Masterbeta. Instead of sticking around and learning more you left the forum and now came back with more questions stemming from more mistakes that could have been avoided. You were told when you were here originally why buying from a pet shop was wrong. You chose not to listen...maybe you can take a moment now and actually learn something.

You are not helping the animals when you buy from pet stores. You are supporting animal mills like this https://cavyspirit.com/hollister.htm You are part of a vicious cycle. Help end it and stop supporting the animal mill industry.

Are you guys going to go down to the shelter and buy every pig that is thier too, NO!!!!! it's the same thing.

It is not the same thing at all. We rescue as many as we can properly house and care for. We educate others about rescuing to perhaps save more. The ones we can't save we pray for. We don't buy from pet shops and breeders because we want to see an end to animals being treated like toys.

Just about everyone here got their first GP from a pet shop. We all make mistakes. There is nothing anyone can do to change where you got your GP. We can however help you learn and grow. There are animals suffering and dying out there. Animals kept in horid conditions forced to breed over and over to keep the pet shops full. Do you understand that? Take some time, cool down and really listen to what is being said. Please stop assisting the horror that these animals have to live with.
