General Ivermectin for Canada?

There is no vet close enough to me to take my guinea pigs to and I am pretty sure they have mites. I phoned every darn vet within an hour of me and they don't take guinea pigs. I also phoned our local vet to see if they could order in some Sheep drench ivermectin because I didn't understand the whole dilute thing with the others. The veterinary clinic said they could not order me in any until I talked with their vet and then I read somewhere that sheep drench is ONLY for sheep. I have been doing my research on this have checked out amazon and EBay but they are in the $100+

Can anyone explain to me what I can do to cure the mites and how to dilute ivermectin if worst comes to worst? I read that feed stores usually have them. Also links to sites on certain kinds people buy please there's quite a lot and I have read every description!!

Have you tried Cornell in Ithaca NY?
It might be worth it if you live by the border.
Even if you don't, call them and see what they say.
They are amazing and give free phone consultations.

My piggie as a red sore on his cheek with no hair and two of my long hairs have really red looking skin. I researched that that redness and hair loss was a sign of mites. However I found a clinic 1 and half from me and will be taking four out of my five Guinea pigs these when I have both the money and the day off to take them I'm making an appointment on Monday.
