My teacher has a lima bean plant that we grew for an experiment. It has no chemicals, because it was control. She was going to throw it away when I said my guinea pig might be able to have it. It is very large and heathly, so I would like to know, can guinea pigs eat lima bean leaves/beans? I think the benas are a no-no, but is the rest of the plant?

I've deleted the identical message you posted in a thread titled 'food' - once is enough for any thread! Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question.

Ok, thanks, I won't do it again.

well it is recommended that guinea pigs stay away from any type of bean, so to be safe i wouldnt chance it. you may want to do a little more research about it first though because you may find it would be okay.

just dont feed it until you know for sure.
