Hello.. we are in the process of switching our guinea pigs into a large home and they will now be together (we adopted a 2nd on in Dec). Also we are introducing using fleece to both of them. In the process.. we have also added a little piggy bathroom in the corner with wood shaves like they use to have in their old cages. My problem now is our piggies are using their toilet as a bed. It this normal for them to do.. or are my guinea pigs just being weird in their new home .

:D It's normal for most piggies to sleep and toilet in the same place that's why I made fleece pads that go in the corners and under hideys. I can just pull them out and wash without doing a total cage clean every 2 days. The fleece pads I use are sewn to 2 layers of flannel and they fleece wicks the wetness down to the flannel so my piggies stay nice and dry.
