Okay to bath my cavys I was looking for a soap and I found this on on petsmart.com

Unless your pigs are really dirty there is no need to even bathe them. That shampoo looks ok but you can get it from www.critterstore.com for about $2.00 cheaper and you're not supporting PetnotsoSmart. I use Four Paws Bunny Bath when I do need to bathe a piggie.

Aloha Littlebear,

I've used the Squeaky Clean on one of my pigs. She was superstinky when I first got her. I've only given her a bath once, but the shampoo (which was the only one Petland at Kahala had) seemed to be okay. It smells slightly like baby powder, but you can't really smell it after it's rinsed off, which is good. Petland has it for $6.29. If you only need a little bit, I'd be happy to share my bottle (if you're still in Honolulu).

I use that brand, but it's so expensive! You don't need to bathe your pigs that often, so I think it's a waste. The link Ly posted has some good, cheap brands though. ^_^ I should buy some!

You only need to bathe them when they are really dirty, but I think you should do it atleast once a year.

Thanks. Also smoot I still live in Honolulu! I don't realy go to the Kahala one to much I usually go to Pets Discount in hawaii kai.

Hawaii Kai is a little far for me (I live near Punahou). I work at Borders at Ward so if you'd like to get some shampoo, you can swing by (just let me know first). I like the Petland at Kahala because they carry a selection of Oxbow pellets and hay. Too bad they don't sell Oxbow VitC tablets.

Like TheQueen said, it's kinda expensive to buy a whole bottle for one bath. Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of choices in the middle of the Pacific. Maybe a bunny shampoo or a kitten shampoo?
