Even if it's too small, most of us just use a strong tape to attach two pieces together. What size c&c are you making?

That's not too small. A sheet that size can make up to a 3x6 cage.

For two females, a 2x4 is enough. You can build a larger cage if you have the space.

It's probably large enough. 2 females will do fine with a 2x4 cage
