Diet Is sugar cane harmful for GP's?

Is sugar cane harmful for GP's? I let my little piggy out for a run and almost had a heart attack
as i thought i had lost her but she was camouflaged amongst sugar cane.
It only ate a little bit and has been fine but just wanted to know if it is harmful or not.

A little bit won't hurt her. But pigs aren't engineered to digest sugar well, and it can really upset their digestive tracts if they get too much of it.
