Is she playing with me?

Hey everyone. Tired of me yet? I ask a lot of sometimes strange questions. Here is another.
Mia has a Fiddlestick house with hay in it. She will sit in the far end and I will wiggle my fingers in the hay. She will jump toward my fingers or run to them then run back and look at me. Sometimes I take a piece of hay and gently poke her with the seed head and she'll run around the log our through it and then I'll do it again. I think you get the idea. Is she playing with me? I figured if she really didn't like it she'd run away from me rather than back to the hidey house where my hand is. Also, though, I didn't think guinea pigs were exactly the playful type. Anyone else "play" with their piggy?
Thanks for reading.

Sounds great. Like you said, she is not running away so she is very much interested in your interaction with her. She must be enjoying it. Keep it up. I would think she is playing with you.

When I have one of my piggies on my lap on a towel she will start pulling on the towel threads. I play tug of war with her. We both pull.

Cool. I'm not the only one with a towel eating pig :) I bought my pigs thier own set of towels (each of my pigs has thier own colour. I try to buy sets of three of everything with thier colours. I figure if pigs can see colour they may appreciate the co-ordination. At the very least it make me happy without bothering them.)

Now Sakura can rip her $1 towel all she wants. I can easily get her another one. My $20 bath sheets were another story :(

Well my guineapig plays with me

If I'm at the refrigerator (for myself for a change) Fozzie will take her position with her feet up in the fridge, and I tap her tush with my foot, she runs away, and immediately comes back for more, and we do this dance a bunch of times. But I think she's just hungry :) When I only had one pig (Charlie) I taught him to stand up on his hind legs. He would wander over to me during floor time and do his trick for me and hope for a treat. The funniest was when I had moved seats but he still went to where I had been sitting before and repeatedly did his trick to an empty chair! I tried to call him over to my new spot but he kept doing it! :)

That is sooo cute! lol

I always just stick my hand under my piggies belly like im going to pick him up and he starts pop corning and then runs up my chest and gives my chin/nose kisses.
