is oatmeal good for pigs?

can i feed my guinea pigs oatmeal..i was just curious..thanks for the help?
 
I don't think you should feed your piggies any type of processed food. That includes anything frozen or canned, too. I think it may have something to do with chemicals put in during processing. Also, piggies would never have processed foods in the wild. Hope this helps! =)
 
My vet said it was actually healthy to feed them oatmeal. I mix in a bit with their food and they go nuts. If I run out for a few day the dig through their food just to find the oats when I finaly get some, its so funny.By the way pigs are domesticated. Thats like saying my golden retriever wouldnt have processed food in the wild.
