Is my piggie sick??

First I just want to say hello. This is my first post, but I've been reading posts here for a few weeks now. Anyways, my piggie is very still all of the time. He is fairly new and I figure he should run away from me when i go to catch him, but he just kinda sits there and lets me get him. I just thought he was laid back, but today I looked under his head where he was laying and I could tell he'd been there for a while and there was white stuff (liquid) on the black towel where his head was. I don't know if it came from his mouth or his rear-end. Has anyone had a problem like this before?? He also never really plays with my other 3 boys. He usually just does his own thing. Is he sick? Should I take him to the vet? Please help.

Any other symptoms? Like runny nose, runny eyes, harsh breathing? Is he eating and drinking fine? Does he lay around all the time or does he at times run around the cage?

There are none of those signs. But when I'm home I have never seen him run around the cage but one time. Whenever I give them veggies, I have to pat him on the rear to get him to go eat them. But I do see him come out and eat and drink his pellets.

the safest thing to do is probably take him to the vets, it might be somthing little, but you don't want him suffering. its worth it
