He has white, tan, and chocolate.

I think so, I've heard it called a chocolate calico :D

Woaaah. I never heard of that one before. Sounds... yummy.I've read that calicos are almost always females, calico males are mutations... Does that go the same with choco calicos?

What you've got is a TSW -- tortoise shell and white -- guinea pig. And as far as I know, the coloring doesn't have anything to do with gender the way calico does in other animals.

Oh... well then I guess that I am getting a TSW too then xD I was told by the adoption place that she was a chocolate calico.

There are no official calico pigs. Of course you can call their coloring anything you want.

You can google guinea pig colors and breeds if you want to find out what official colors your pigs are.

My guinea pig is white, cocoa, and ginger. I have been doing research, but I still can't quite tell if he is calico or not.
