My family and I moved yesterday, my guinea pigs included. When I went to clean their cage today, I noticed that there was hardly any poop, and all day my pigs have been snuggled up in the same
hidey. Their room is a bit colder than they?re used to (68 F currently and the house is a bit drafty) and I?m working on fixing that, but they?re not eating. I just gave them both some Critical Care and they happily took it, and it seems that it may have been jump-started their appetites for some veggies. My question is: does moving stress out piggies? Their surroundings are new, obviously, but it?s not like the cage is any different. Should I expect them to return to their normal selves in the next few days, or is their odd behavior something I should be concerned about?
