I've never tried, although I'm planning to. Just wanted to know if there are people out there who constantly make home made care fresh, instead of using fleece. Because I can't use the washing machine and fleece will be a nightmare to hand wash.

Good luck with making your own and let us know how it turns out.

I'm gonna bet that there aren't a lot of people who do it. For one thing, you'd need a lot of newspaper, you'd have to do it all the time, and it takes a lot of time and room to dry it.

If you're trying to save money over most litters, do you have wood pellets (for stoves or horses) available where you are? They're heavy, but work extremely well, and are much cheaper than other types of litters, at least in the U.S.

Just thinking about it made me lazy :D
