Is it possible to spoil your guinea pig?

Sasha was for my little sister, however all of my family take turns holding her, and playing with her. Just wondering if we should be spending so much time with her.

No way, i dont' belive you can "spoil" a Gp. Especially if they are alone, with no ther piigies friends. Gp's are VERY social animals and need contact and lots of it if they are alone. Please read this link https://guinealynx.info/healthycavy.html#oneortwo

Our Gp spends very little time alone, even though she has no "friends" there with her...there is always someone cuddling her or playing on the floor.

Even with all the human contact, you REALLY sure get her a piggies friend from a shelter or adoption agencie. After proper quaritine time, you can indroduce them and then watch how happy your piggies will be

I purchased my first guinea pig from a local pet store right after a family who had bought her 2 weeks before had given her back. They were moving into an apartment that didn't allow pets. Anyway, the couple had 2 children who used to hold her all the time (she didn't have a cage mate). So, when I got her she was the sweetest, calmest little thing. She would lick my chin and snuggle up on the my shoulder while I watched TV. I believe she was between 3 & 4 months old when I got her. Then I brought home friends for her, so of course she now prefers to spend her time with them. I still take her out, but she would rather be in her cage.
