hey, i know that i haven't been here for a while- I sort of forgot. Forgive me- please. Anyways, my (evil) dog licked my piggy, is it okay? Or will Snickers get sick or something? I mean, Snickers enjoyed the (evil) dog, and the (evil) dog loved her! They were really good friends.

I don't think your pig can get sick unless your dog is sick. I'm sure your piggie will be fine. Just be careful. A friend's dog got to her piggies and killed all nine of them. Just a warning.

My beagle loves to sniff and lick my pigs, she'll sit there on the couch( across the room) and watch them for ten minutes just hopping around in their cage. I'm sure she's fine, just make sure the dog can't get to piggies unsupervised.

I'm guessing she would be fine, all I know is dog's & cat's saliva on birds is toxic for them so I'm not very sure about guinea pigs.

I bet it will be okay as long as the dog isn't sick.

Maybe just keep a good eye on your piggy, and that way if your piggy does get sick you will be able to know right away. But I think everything will be ok. I don't have a problem with my piggy being licked because my dogs kill cats and guinea pigs, so they are outside.

I guess everything would be okay because birds preen their feathers and might get the saliva in their mouths but not guinea pigs.It shouldn't be a problem.

my dog isn't sick (thank goodness)... she just got her shots. Anyways, just the same as your dog, DocDolittle, my dog is a (evil) beagle.

Have you ever watched a pig groom itself? It licks it's fur.
