Popcorning Is Abaddon Popcorning????

So this is going to sound odd but I think Abaddon is popcorning but I'm not sure/have me doubts. Okay so I had to separate my two boars Abaddon and Cain about a month ago because their cage was too small for the both of them to share, so Abaddon ended up in a bird cage that was WAY too small for him while I was working on getting a cage that was big enough for the both of them. But, a couple weeks ago I came home and found Cain dead.
So now Abaddon is in the "pet store style" cage which is much easier to keep clean and is quite a bit bigger then the other one he was in but I still don't think it's big enough, he has a diy fleece forest to hide in rather then just a cardboard box, he has a food bowl that was made for guinea pigs, an actual hay rack so he has hay all the time now and a much bigger water bottle, so I know that he is better off then he was but I know there is a lot of room for improvement. A little while ago I noticed him randomly jumping around the cage and it kind of looks like popcorning but I'm not sure. First off he's by himself, he doesn't even have another piggy to talk to from cage to cage anymore, secondly his cage isn't as big or as nice as I would like/think he should have, and finally he really doesn't usually exhibit 'typical piggy behavior'; during floor time he pretty much just stands there, honestly he just stands there 75% of the time or chews on things the other 25% and really kind of acts more like a cat then a guinea pig, he rarely makes any noise at all. So I'm wondering if there is some way to tell if he is popcorning for sure or if he was doing something else. Also I think it's just kind of Abaddon being Abaddon but could there be another reason for his general lack of normal guinea pig behavior?

Sorry about the confusing post, it's kind of hard to explain....

First of all, your post would be easier to read if you broke it up into paragraphs. :)

Secondly, some pigs just hate floor time. If that's the case with your Abaddon, I wouldn't bother with it anymore. Also, some pigs are just quieter than others. I have one obnoxious wheeker, one mediocre wheeker, and one that never learned how to wheek properly. Haha.

Third, you really, really need to get Abaddon another buddy and a bigger cage. Popcorning can be a respond to various types of stimulus - it doesn't necessarily mean your guinea pig is "jumping for joy" (literally). Even if he is reacting out of happiness, he'd still be happier with another pig and a larger cage, no doubt about it.

I am planning on getting him a cage mate just after I get the bigger cage and get it set up for two piggies and I'm going to make sure Abaddon gets into the vet for a check up first. I got Abaddon and Cain as birthday presents after my first piggy died, so I really didn't get to pick when I got them, so I wasn't really set up and prepared for two after having just the one and I'm not going to rush out and get another one until I'm completely ready. Abaddon just doesn't act like any other guinea pig I've had or been around, I'm pretty sure it's just his personality but now that he's the only one I have I've kind of been obsessing over him and haven't ever seen him do that before and I'm kind of paranoid now so I'm afraid every little thing is a sign of something bigger

@Highhopes12, you'll get a more responses if you'll break your posts up into sentences and double-spaced paragraphs. "Walls of text" are hard to read, and a lot of people just skip them.

If your question is about popcorning, google "guinea pig popcorning" without the quotes. You'll get several YouTube hits.
