Is it easer intero a baby to a adult or adult to adult? As far as I know Caramel has never been with other piggy. I have been thinking about getting a friend for her, and wounding if I should get a baby or adult. I think my piggy is only around 1 or less.

Lose the attitude. You are not special. You are subject the the exact same rules as everyone else. Feel free to look around the site. You will see posts that are legible and relatively easy to read and understand. We are not asking any more from you then we ask of any other members and we certainly aren't going to ask for less.

I really didn't get what's going on with this post, but maybe it's just because I am too dumb.
I think it would be easier to introduce a baby to an adult, but by introducing 2 adults you'll probably have no problems with puberty. I believe it's up to you.
My boys get along just fine and (I really don't know when they can be considered adults) the first introduction was with Stephen, 2 months old, and Scott, and a half moths old.
Now I introduced Rasputin, I have no idea how old he is, but the vet said about 3 months, to my boys one month after the first introduction. It was fine. No problems at all.

It depends on the personality. It doesn't matter how young or old the pigs are if they are both fighting for dominance all of the time.

It seems to me that adults are usually easier to introduce because they often tend to be a little more laid back and don't have puberty to get in the way.

At this time there are 2 female GP in APAWS in Baton Rouge Baton Rouge, LA: Adoptable Pets: Petfinder They would be worth saving instead of buying from a petstore. You can also try Magic Happens rabbit rescue Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue - Home. They often have in guinea pigs .

That is the only thing I understood.

As for introducing guinea pigs it really depends on the personality. I had a heck of a time introducing my sows. They still squabble quite a bit, but they get along just fine. When I tried to introduce a neutered male (Sebastian) into their herd it didn't go so well as one of my females attacked him. Needless to say he was housed alone after that.

A couple days ago I was able to introduce Sebastian to a boar who is approximately a year old. They got along great. I never realized that introductions could go so smoothly.

From personal experience it all depends on the pigs.
