Introductions Introducing Sheldon to Penny!

Hello all!
I decided to introduce Penny and Sheldon today. At first they were very happy to see eachother. Then they realized what was happening and the games began. I had to throw the towel over them a couple times. Penny decided to do a flying leap at Sheldon. Sheldon is trying to woo Penny, and she's not having any of it.
Things were getting a bit heated, so I gave them a massive pile of hay and veg. That helped ease the tension. They are currently in their intro pen. Penny is very chatty, but she always is. I'm not sure when to put them in the cage. I have it all cleaned out and ready to go. There are still having nose-offs and some teeth chattering. They are both getting tired. We've been at it for about 2 hours now. Not totally sure who's going to be the boss. Penny stands her ground, and then runs away. Sheldon keeps following her around and rumbling.
Just wanted to share a picture! I'll add more as I take them. Hopefully things will continue to go smoothly.

They're in the cage together now. They're doing pretty good. Still rumbling and nosing-off but for the most part it's going well!

Things should settle down pretty quickly, but don't be surprised if they bicker on and off for a few days! When I introduced George to Frank and Charlie they rumbled on and off for a couple of days. Then, about a week after the intro... Charlie got pretty ticked off at George and they bickered all night long one night. After that things have been very peaceful! As long as there is no blood drawn, just leave them be. They'll straighten things out on their own.

They are doing very well right now! They both had a 20 minute nap, and after that it seems like they're doing better. They've been sharing hay and veggies. I know that they will still have to hash things out for the next bit, but I'm very pleased with how they are doing right now!

ETA: I guess I never mentioned that Sheldon is neutered. I don't want to freak people out thinking I have an intact male and female together. No babies, thank you very much!

I know, everyone keeps asking me why his name isn't Leonard. I honestly don't like Leonard, but Sheldon is my fav! :cheerful:

We made it through the night without any problems!!
There is no more chattering. Now we are in the stage of Sheldon trying to be romantic with Penny. He keeps creeping up from behind and trying to jump on her. :melodrama
Thankfully she keeps karate chopping him everytime he tries to get on her.
I'm so pleased with how everything is going!
