Hi there, I have a momma piggy, her babies are 2 weeks old. All the boys will be adopted out or at least moved to their own cage. I have a 6 week old female I want to move in with mom and babies. Mommy isn't aggressive in the slightest or protective about the babies, can i move her in now with them?

Look here, pebbles: https://www.cavyspirit.com/sociallife.htm and click on the right to find what you need.

I'm glad you are separating and keeping them in pairs. =)
Do you have a c and c cage? Just a random question I know.

yep, well no chloroplast now, cubes and litter pans, well big rubber maid pans. I am getting some chloroplast when I make their giant cages. I have 9 piggies, well one is definately spoken for, Michelle who's piggies fathered my babies. The 3 came from the spca, she took the boys and I got mommy. So she is taking one boy. Anyways. hah I am planning on setting up giant cages, one for each sex. my rat cages are 9 feet wide 6 feet tall buily onto the walls, and some of the rabbit cages are 7 feet long built in, so I hope to getthe piggies some fanntastic giant cages soon.

Ok, great! Are your adoptables going into a home with another pig? If not, don't adopt them out seperately.

yeah they will go in pairs if I let them go at all

hahaha

Ok, great! Thanks for the reassurance, just felt like checking to make sure. I can never tell, don't take it personally. =)

Not at all. I do animal rescue. I am very picky about who gets my animals. I have 25 bunnies, 28 or so rats, 9 piggies, 2 german shepherds and 3 cats. I love animals more than people, no offense

hahha

Well, that was easy. my 6 week old girl is now with mommy and babies and my 6 week old boy is now with my 2-3 month old boys. Smooth sailing. A few minutes of humping in the boys cage and thats it. Sheesh.

your rabbits and rats have humongous cages!!!! wow, you've got some lucky bunnies, rodents, and piggies!
