I am looking at alternatives. Opinions on using an indoor/outdoor carpet instead of fleece. It is a low tight nit. It is washable. Or could it be used instead off furniture pads.

I don't know how well this is going to wash up. Is it very soft? One of the reasons people use fleece is because it wicks moisture away from the piggies to keep them dry, it washes well, and it protects their delicate feet. Carpet might be too rough for long term housing for their feet.

Hello. We use tough carpet for our bunny pen because we house a keen digger/chomper and our bun reliably wees in his ltter box (not the carpet), but for our gunieas we've found fleece to be best. It's really easy to clean and dry, durable and most importantly, it dries ultra quick when guineas wee on it.

Thx i just wanted opinions i am still getting fleece & furniture pads. Just always looking @ my options.
