Turbo and Scooter have eaten about twice as much hay as usual in the past 24 hours. They have also drank a lot more. It's not hot here, and they appear perfectly normal. Does this mean anything or am I being overly analytical?

I wouln't worry about it.

So then the answer is "yes"? HAHA ;O)

They could be drinking a lot more due to the heat. I noticed an increase in my pigs' drinking about the end of May, and during the winter, they definitely don't drink as much.
Don't worry too much about it. Only if there's a dramatic increase or decrease in weight should you get worried.

Hay is dry so if they eat more of it they will likely drink more. At least it works that way with my horses. If you just got new hay or just cleaned out their cage and gave them lots of fresher hay they may be eating more cause it tastes better. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
