Three months after getting Atticus, today is the first day he has ever let me pet him while he is in the cage! Just a week or so ago he decided it was safe to lay down around me. Maybe in three more months he will let me pet him when he's out of the cage! There's still hope!!

That's great news! Keep up the good work. :D

Cocoa and Pippin still won't let me pet their bums in the cage, but as long as I stay to the shoulders and up I'm okay.

Great job! Honey lets me pet her in her cage and out of her cage. Coco sometimes lets me pet her in her cage, but never out of her cage.

The same thing happened yesterday with my new female, Nova! She also took food from my hand for the first time two days ago.

Congrats!

Doc, that could be because most piggies don't like their bums touched. Try scratching their noses or behind the ears. I used to only be able to pet CoCo in the cage but now they are all starting to let me do that. CoCo loves to be scratched on the nose and under her chin and stands up with her feet on the grids so I will pet her.
