One thing that is concerning my Guinea pigs is they are always hiding in thier 2 x 4 C&C cage. I have two Guinea Pigs. In the cage I have a food bowl, fruit & vegtable bowl, two igloo's, and one large box to hide in. Is this too much? They also have a Hay rack. When I can afford a digital camera I will post a picture.

No, that's not too much. Maybe they are just shy.

If you only had them for a short time it can take a couple of months for them to become less shy. You can take out their veggie bowl and only put it in when its time to feed them their veggies. Your piggies will always run to their house at times when you walk by, its only natural, thats their instinct. But over time they will do it less. They will stay put at times eating their hay, or eating their food.

My pigs run out to greet me when I walk into the room, but they're exceptionally odd. They do love their igloos, though. When they're napping or just hanging around, they spent a significant amount of time in them and under the cage ramp. I think they'll come out more once they're used to you going in and out of the room.
