Grooming I would like to buy a brush for my guinea pig.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good brush for guinea pigs
one is a short haired piggie and the other well i dont know she is
still young yet.

I have two brushes for my guinea pigs. I use a soft bristled, cat brush for my short haireds and a rigid plastic bristled brush for my texels. The tips of the plastic bristle brush have soft, reinforced tips so it doesn't scratch their skin. I also use fine and medium toothed combs to comb out their fur.

I have an abby, and she doesn't like the hair in her whorls brushed in the wrong direction. It's hard to keep from doing that with a wide brush, so I just use a toothbrush. It works just fine on the short-haired one too.

i bought a baby hair brush and my boy is an abyssinian and it works very well and wont hurt them at all soft enough to be safe but rough enough to do somthing!

well my first piggie is a short haired piggie the second has fine hair not sure if its short or long yet
because she is still young the people that we got the pig from they said it was long haired but we suspect otherwise.
