I want to adopt?

I want to adopt. I'm in the philippines and there aren't any shelters or guinea pig rescues around. People here don't care much for guinea pigs so not alot buy them. I need help. I really don't want to buy but I don't think I have a choice. What should I do?:weepy:

Perhaps you could ask at a Vet's or look in the newspaper for adverts? If there are pet stores selling guinea pigs, there are almost certainly homeless piggies.
