My local pet shop has finally got rid of the horrible glass tanks that they kept the rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters in!
There are 3 larges cages (there not c & c).
The cages are store bourght but they are clean are very big with tunnels and hidey houses for the animals.

It's just too bad that they're still selling animals.

It sounds like a small victory, a very very small one, but one none the less.

Not sure if it would be enough for me to want to shop there...

We just buy our guinea pigs food there. At least the animals are no longer subjected to those horrible tanks.

True it is one small step at a time the can make a difference. Maybe next time you can get them into slightly bigger cages and hand them a few booklets about care then maybe a next time cc cages. Loads of small steps make a big leap.
