Diet I have heard conflicting things on foods...

I was just wondering if there are any fresh fruits, treats or things to avoid. Yesterday I was having an Avacado and wanted to give a bit to my Cavy, but I wasn't sure that she should have it, its such an odd food. Any thoughts or warnings you have heard about foods?

It has a list of good foods and bad foods, avacado is on the "do not feed" list for being too high in fats and oils. I heard it was fatty so I don't eat it myself :sarcastic

Avocados for humans, as I just found out from my sister, is one of the worlds super power foods...I actually hate them, but I force myself to eat them now and then because they have just about every trace minieral, every good fat, every vitamen we have on earth in them in some form...my sis has been a beach body coach for a bit now, and shes always had acne and stuff until she started eating those avacadoes like candy... but as for GP...I def DID NOT know. thanks!

A tiny bit shouldn't hurt them, but I wouldn't make a regular habit out of feeding it to them.

That said, I can't stand plain avocados, but guacamole is god-tier.

A tiny piece, every now and then as a treat isn't too bad. A very tiny-eraser on a pencil size piece. Otherwise, they get the nutrition they need from their salads, pellets, and hay.
