What about the broken leg?

As of right now, she's still healing. I won't know what the vet will want to do until Wednesday evening. Freya's leg isn't crooked, but we'll see if the vet wants to rebreak it. I sure hope not though.

I was playing with her ears last night and some mite dirt fell into my lap. My sister helped me treat her, although we haven't treated to other two cats and the dogs yet.

A quick note about the water fountains. We use Fresh Step litter for our kitties, and there's Paw Points on the packages. You get free stuff when you save up enough of them. One of the things you can order is an electric cat fountain, so we got one for our cat that used to drink out of the bathtub faucet and he loves it.

I'm guessing the Feline Leukemia test was negative? When we found our own "road kitten," SheiKra (some jerk tossed him into traffic on the expressway), I was scared to death the test would be positive but thankfully it wasn't and he's been our spoiled boy for three years now.

Hopefully you'll be able to leave the leg as-is. One of my previous cats that I got from the shelter had a misshapen leg that the vet said was from a previous break. It apparently healed on its own, and he lived to be 16 with no problems from it.

Besides claw caps, put double sided tape where you don't want your kitty to scratch and offer more than one scratching post. That's how I keep my furniture intact (well, mostly) with four cats.

We got a kitten, and she is a psychotic ball of furry energy. All she does is sprint at kitten terminal velocity around our living room. She was in a cage probably for a decent amount of time after she was separated from her mother, so she's loving her freedom! She is soo attached to us! We were in my brother's room, kitten proofing it, and she was crying, and wailing, and meowing for us until one of us would come out, and she would just go back to playing with herself. So precious.

I'm so glad you decied not to declaw her! They basically cut off their toes, and then sew them back on! It gives me shivers. Brrr.

@mufasa : I looked at their CATalog, and didn't see the fountain... Maybe they took it off. About how many points is each box/ package worth? 25? 50? 100?
