He was being funny. I was amused, but I have that type of humor. That kind of humor isn't for everyone, but this person clearly loves their guinea pig. It looks very healthy and clean and this person took the time out to make sure the pig was going to be taken care of while he was away. I would personally use my local rescue's pigsitting services, but not everyone knows that piggy rescues exist and may take care of your guinea pig while you're away. The ad wasn't malicious in any way, just not everyone's cup of tea
