I'm not exactly a new member, but it's been about 3 years since I've actively participated on the forum. I don't recognize any names, and I'm sure no one will remember me, so I thought I'd re-introduce myself.

My name is Susan. I'm 34, live in Texas, and am an RN by profession. I've been a vegetarian/animal rights advocate for 24 years. I share my life with 3 cats and one rabbit, currently, but have also shared my life with numerous guinea pigs (up to 17 at one point!), chinchillas, and hamsters.

One of the reasons I've been away from the forum for so long is because I also share my life with my perfect, precious, and absolutely wonderful son. He's 3 now. I suffered from infertility and tried to have a baby for 5 years before he came along - every minute with him is an absolute miracle.

My kiddo received the rabbit (named Hoppy) as an Easter present. Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about rabbits, so I'm hoping everyone here can help me out.

It's good to be back.

I have actually seen your name appear numerous times around the forum on older posts.

There are plenty of rabbit forums out there, I suggest signing up and having a browse around.
