Hello all! I am a new piggy owner (she is really my daughter's pig). Her name is Cupcake. She is quite the character already. We are waiting for the C&C cage to be built by a local shelter and we are looking forward to adopting another little girl at the end of the month.

it's nice to see a mother along with her daughter taking care of a guinea pig! unfortunately, my mother is afraid of rodents, so me and my long-time helper take care of my 'stupid mice' ourselves.

Welcome to the forum!! Glad you are already looking into/taking care of 2 of the most important things a guinea pig needs/DEFINITELY should have!!

1) A buddy-I hope soon I can get Ginger one ....-

2) Adequete cage space aka a C&C Cage!! -which Ginger does have! -

Thanks for the welcome. As soon as I figure out how to post pics, I will. My husband thinks I need a guinea pig intervention....I made sleep sacks, a hayrack and a hammock yesterday! I was just preparing for the new cage. My daughter and I are having a blast! My husband is quite smitten with Cupcake...he doesn't fool me. I am hoping that she will like to be held more as she gets older. She would rather run and play right now.
