Liners How to prevent fleece liners from shrinking?

I prewash my liners in regular warm water and dry on regular heat before sewing, but for some reason they end up shrinking at least a half inch over time. Do I need to wash my fleece and UHaul pads differently in order to prevent shrinkage? Or what can I do to prevent it?

I always cut a few inches extra.

When you pre-wash, wash and dry on the highest heat you can, and iron if possible. That way you know exactly what you have to work with.

You don't need to wash differently, rather on the highest heat.

Even so, though, my liners have shrunk about an inch on a few ends over time. No biggy for me though.

Good luck!

:)

I always cut mine bigger. For example: a 2x3 I would cut it 30"x45". That way when and if they shrink its ok :)

I found the pads I made with Zorb shrink the most.

I haven't washed the Uhaul pads yet--I just made them! I did cut them larger, though, after my experience with the zorb pads.
