How Much? How much will 50lb of pellets last for 7 pigs?

Question in the title asks everything I need to know. 1/8 c. each and/or 1/4 c. each. I am buying KMS next month and am hoping that 50lb will last me the whole year...just wondering how close my guess is lol Thanks!!!

How many pellets are you buying now and how long do they last?

I measured a while ago.
1/4 cups of KMS pellets weigh 1.3 ounces.
1/8 cups would weigh 0.65 oz.
50 lbs. is 800 oz.
50 lbs. would last 1 pig 1,230 days, at 1/8 cups per day.
For 7 pigs, it should last 175 days.

This is if they don't spill any.

Seven pigs get 1/8 cup per day rounded to a cup per day. A cup is 8 ounces and there is 16 ounces in a pound. I would guess 100 days.

My pigs have been pelletless for almost two months. I have been giving more veggies. So I wouldn't know. They will only eat KMS so I've been waiting until I have enough money to buy in bulk.
