Water How much water

I have 2 places I keep my piggy... 1.) At night he's in his cage with a water bottle, food and igloo 2.) During the day he's with us in a playpen with a water bottle, food, hidey and some toys. I do this so I can keep him safe from our 3 cats while I sleep without always moving his cage. Nevertheless, he has 2 water bottles. He seems to drink more at night than during the day. He's about 6 months old. Is this normal? Maybe I just never see him sneak a drink but I feel like I don't fill up his play pen's water bottle much. So, how much water should he be drinking? Is there a way to see if he's getting enough? I know it's available and he's peeing/pooping fine, no other changes ... Maybe I worry too much LOL

I think if he always has water available and seems healthy, then don't worry about it. He's smart enough to drink when he's thirsty and maybe he just likes to drink at night more. Also I assume you are feeding fresh veggies which have a lot of water in them, so he's most likely just fine.
