Well, gas here where I live has jumped 19 cents since yesterday. We are now closing in on 3 dollars for 9/10 gallon. Gas jumped 10 cents during lunch today. Now it is currently $2.85 for 9/10 gallon. People always think the price is in gallons but it's not. At 2.85 for 9/10 figuring in the other 1/10, gas here today is $3.13 a GALLON my friends.

And there's no end in sight, they have said so. I will keep my political opinion out of this but I am very angry. Hurricane notwithstanding.

Fortunately, when we went to dinner last night, I stopped at the indian reservation and filled up for $2.50 for 9/10.

How much where you are?

I'm not sure of the exact price where I am (I take the bus) but last week it jumped to over $1.00 a liter! That's insane up here. Most gas station's don't even have a spot of a 4th digit on their signs. I remember gas was 70 cents a liter not too long ago. (By the way a liter is much smaller then a gallon. Pop bottles are 2 liters, just to give you an idea)

Though I feel grateful for the chance to bemoan the price. The poor people hit by that hurricane and probably grateful for every overpirced drop they can get. I heard they jacked the prices as people were evacuating :(

Just like Sabriel our price of gas jumped to well over a dollar. $1.13 at miminum. There is something like 3.7854118 liters in a US gallon. So $3.13 really isn't that bad, you guys are saving money.

Here in Ft. Myers, regular is $2.83 and the super duper stuff is $3.03. Outrageous! We (as in anyone who drives a car) are not going to be able to afford this forever. Something must be done!

For our Dodge Ram 1500 (1200) cant remember which it is. With 2 wheel drive it costs us any where from $60-$75 dollars to fill up depending on a few different things, including weather conditions. For our van, it costs somewhere in the $60 range. It's so outragous. Hopefully something is done soon. My parents are already planning on selling the truck, and we havn't even had it for 6 months.

Three years ago I could fill up our cars at 89 CENTS for 9/10. So that makes todays prices THREE times higher than three years ago. If we are saving money I'd sure like to know where!

Well if you had to pay as much as we do per liter, and we converted it to gallons you would be paying something like $4.27 per gallon. So it's still cheaper to buy gas in the US for Canadians.

Costs $70 to fill up our Ford Expedition. Shouldn't be driving it either. Our Mini Cooper is much better. I think it gets 32 mpg.

I just checked the one down from my house and it is $3.20 a gallon(thats the cheapest)....which is just CRAZY!!!!!! It is soooooo making me angry I cannot even believe it!! I really do not believe that there is a oil shortage that is causing all this but someeones getting rich or richer and its not me. If we were haveing a shortage why would the car companies be still making Hummers, Surburbans, Escalades etc.... that take and use so much gas!?!?!?!?!?! Ihave a Surburban and with the prices like this it would probably be $120 to fill my tank and about 16 miles to the gallon maybe, so I bought a little Neon to drive to and from work and around town (and when I'm not hauling several kids around) and its about $25-30 ti fill and about 30-33 miles to the gallon i think.

But didn't you "yikes" when 2 bux was baring down your back? Remember how most of us thought we would never see $2.00? Let alone THREE?

Don't worry, $4.00 is next here. And the snowball effect is just beginning. Airline fares, home heating, school taxes, anything that's made of plastic. The list is endless. All of this and more is going to start to skyrocket in price. Your days of disposable income is a thing of the past.

There's early signs of this beginning to gnaw at the economy. I read it in the news today. It's going to get alot worse before any remote sign of getting better. People better start banking their money instead of blowing it all at Walmart. This is all going to come to a head.

At least the high gas prices are pushing Bush's support down. Prices have gone up over 200%.

AND I am hard pressed to order anything online. Shipping rates have sky rocketed because of gas prices.

Gas here is $2.95 per gallon for regular, and I can just imagine it is more in San Francisco. Someone told me they had heard on the radio that gas is predicted to be $5.00 per gallon by next summer. I don't know how people will be able to afford to drive anywhere.

Hi Gas here is $3.09 for 9/10 gallon! My stepdad works for a gas refineri (I have bad spelling sorry)and he said the reason it went up was because 3 refineries are out due to hurcanes!
