I only have two, but I think the perfect size is 6. They would be in a little herd! When I move out I want to get 6.

They are more happy in a herd I think. When I only had 2 boars they kind of just layed there on opposite sides of the cage and didn't do much. Now that there are 4 in there they are so active and actually sleep in the same pigloo alot. They are fun to watch. Their personalities really came out now that there are 4 of them rather than 2. They also get along better. Maybe it's just my pigs I don't know.

Yah, same here. By boys just kind of sit. But I just don't have the space/time/money (well, my parents money) for more. Also I'm scared about the introductions. My boys are so bonded, they are literally inseperable. Some new guys could just disrupt it

I love having animals in our home. We had 26. But now we are down to 14. I could go more if I wanted to. I have all the room time and space for them all. I adore them also I help foster them until they are rehomed. Right now I took our muffy back off of our Sister In Law cause she was not taking care of her right. She would wait until her cages is inches in her dirty mess. We got upset and told my hubby's brother to get her out. He agreed and called us up and said get her now cause she deserved better. I will be finding a home for Muffy as soon as she gets out of her traumatized shell.

Ly too bad you could not keep Elly. I feel bad for her. I wish I was close to take her from you. How are you feeling now.

If Ly and I can work it out I will hopefully be taking Elly from her to come live with my 2 girls. Unfortunatly, it's a 10 hour drive to Ly's house from mine and I just don't think I can talk my hubby into that kind of a road trip...it will be hard enough to convince him not to kick me out if I bring home another animal.

If there are people on this forum between Little Rock Arkansas and New Orleans Louisiana willing to run a leg of a pig train maybe little baby Elly can come live with me. Of course, if she does, she will get her name shortened to Ly since I will sound foolish calling the GP by my own name.

I have 4 of my own piggies, and am often tempted to had one more girl (currently have 3 girls and a neutered male) but I only have a 2x6 and would want to make it a bit bigger were I to add another member. Of course, I have a gazillion rescue piggies . . .
