Upper Levels How many more grids to add more?

Currently we have our two piggies (we have three but one is in quarantine with a URI) in a 2x5 with 2x2 loft. I'd like to add a 1x3 up top and connect it with the current 2x2 that's there. No reason except they seem so happy and love the top level, but I feel it's too small for them to run and popcorn (though one does when she's up there) How many more grids would I need? I'm guessing 10 since we have a top. Thanks!

Are you trying to make an L-shape loft? 2x2 on one side with the 1x3 on the other side?

Or are you trying to make the whole cage two levels of 2x5?

Edit to add: I'd recommend buying a whole box of grids than buying by panels. You'd probably save more money than buying 10 grids + shipping.

Yes, it will be L shaped. I wasn't sure how to word it. Still getting the hang of c&c lingo to be honest. Not sure I want two 2x5 levels just yet (possible in future though) Thank you, I have a Sears nearby so that'll be perfect
