Im planning on getting two female guinea pigs.
I want to know how much supply I should actually get.

About how long would 10lbs. of food last?
About how long would 15oz. of hay last?

If by 10 pounds of food you're talking about pellets, 10 pounds will last two pigs several months.

Fifteen ounces of hay will last two pigs less than a week.

10lbs lasts my two about three months or so. 15oz of hay might last them 2 days. 10 or 15lbs of hay would last you longer...if you can swing the shipping you could order from kleenmama's or even getting the bigger bags of oxbow

for storing...i keep about two weeks of pellets out in an airtight container and the rest stay in the freezer and when i need to fill the little container again i just take some out the night before i need them so they can thaw

for hay i just keep it in the cardboard box it came in...just made sure to remove the platic sack and keep the top of the box mostly open so the hay can breathe, if hay is kept and stored properly it'll last for atleast a year.
