I've never really broken it down to see how long it takes me to go through hay. Since I recently ordered 25lb 3rd Cut Timothy and 25lb Bluegrass from KM I'm trying to figure out how long it should last. I have 5 sow and 1 boar. What's your best guess?

It really depends how you use it.
Like if you only put it in a hay rack 50lbs of hay should last a long while.

My guys like to play in, lay in and sleep in their hay so they go through piles of it (for two I go through about 1 - 2 lbs a week) since I give them 2 - 3 generious handfuls a day to roll around in.

Good point! It's exclusively in racks.

I cant give an exact estimate, but I can say - a long time!
I buy 40oz bags of hay and they last about a week or so each.

I have 3 Boar's and 2 Sow's and they love playing in the hay, eating it and use the hay to go to the bathroom, I usually change it out every other day. I have about 100lbs of Timothy Hay and I use it like crazy since I know I have so much, It is hard to tell how long it will last some days you may use more hay then other days. I guess maybe you could calculate it from when you bought it and see how long it will take to use it all up. I have had my Hay for about 2 months now and I would say it would take me a year to finish it, maybe 50 lbs in 6 months.

50lbs. of hay should last 6 pigs at least 6 months or longer depending on how much they eat.

I had 7 pigs in my herd at one point and had ordered 100lbs. of KM's hays at once and it lasted my girls just over a year.
