How does this person compare circumcision of infant boys and tail docking in dogs?

Regardless of differing opinions on circumcision, I find it odd that this is the response sophisticavy gets back from the dog seeker. Instead of having a reasonable explanation as to why this is the decision they've made (not that there would be one), they just point out that it's no worse than something else that's arguably cruel and unnecessary? Brilliant...

Apparently someone wasn't paying attention in grade school when we went over two wrongs not making a right.

A circumcision does not involve amputation of any kind. It simply removes the foreskin,

The foreskin is amputated. You even used 'removed'.

which does prevent problems, like guineapigluver1 said. It is done for cleanliness, and to prevent cancer.

Mastectomies prevent breast cancer, and also prevent getting yeast infections underneath the breast.
Good reasons to do preventative mastectomies on baby girls? Guessing most would say no.
