How do you do a search?

I am one of those people who had no idea how to use a computor or know it's lingo. I am learning. This sight has been invaluable to me for the health and well being of my GP's. I do not know how to search a past thread. I am open to knowing how so I don't redo topics that have been brought up before.
Also what is a troll?

suzi - Go all the way up to the upper right-hand corner of this site and you'll see two small text-entry blocks with "GO" buttons next to them where you enter your search words and can search either the forum or the site.

I'm assuming trolls are the same here as they are on the chicken forum that I'm on ... they're people that join forums for the sole intent of causing problems, (i.e., posting pictures/comments that are considered controversial ... as last night when someone posted a picture of something roasting on a barbecue and asking "what happened to my pigs? All I did was put them on the barbecue for a minute ...) and that kind of stuff, or when the quality of their conversation deteriorates and is no longer respectful or relevant to the members or specific purpose of the forum.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please ...

Yes, trolls are people who join soley to cause problems.
