Fighting How do I get my 2 male guinea pigs to get along

I have 6 guinea pigs & I haven't be putting them all together to see how long they get a long.
2 are males.
I put the 2 males in together in one cage & they started fighting & Got them out as quick I could ( Of course I read to use a towel in case of something like that, & I forgot to use the towel)
They are fine
I wanna know how I go about getting them to get use to each other?

Im in the process of making C&C cage & would like them to get along

Can you clarify this first statement? You have 6 guinea pigs and 2 are males. The rest are females then? And are you putting them together or not putting them together? If you haven't been putting them together, how does the "seeing if they get along" part come in?

You should never introduce in the cage - especially since you have one smaller than a C&C cage. This is why they fought. Males need enough space. Sticking them into a cage together "just to see" if they would get along, is NOT a good game plan. I guess I was just saying I had 6 guinea pigs.. & I guess it didn't have anything to do with trying to see how to get the males to get along... sorry..

Okay but you specified that 2 are males so the rest are females?
