Hi everyone. I am new-ish to having a guinea pig. We adopted Unicorn in March from a cavy shelter. The shelter director had just about given up on finding him a home since he was all white and "most people don't like all white piggies". We think he's adorable and I am in love with him. He is so sweet (never bites and gives lots of kisses) and he sings along to music (80s synthesizer-heavy music like Depeche Mode is his favorite).

I've checked out this site often for advice and decided to introduce myself and Unicorn.

Oh my, that is the perfect name! I think you have the best named piggie I know! I too have a white piggie that was rescued at a shelter. They've about given up too with him and he was kept in the back of the shelter for a long time. Didn't help he's got red eyes. :/
Not sure if your familiar with Harry Potter but I named my white piggie, Hedwig!
