It's all very...BIG. But easy to read and navigate so far, I think. Florence gives it her highest mark--two green dribbles!

Like, the member name "boxes" (and thus fonts, probably) are too big. Takes up too much vertical space, I think.

Part of it may be that I'm used to GL where the member name stuff is in a left-hand column, next to the post.

Yeah, I was just mucking around with that. I'll be changing it. This is pretty complicated stuff and takes a lot experimenting.

Also, in your profile you can switch the display to the left side. Drawbacks there too. I'm working on it. Will take a mod I think.

Switched it; a bit better, but still BIG on my (relatively low-res) screen. I'll see how it looks at work tomorrow.

It moves very slooooowly for me though. I have a dial-up connection right now and everything moves slowly, but these forums are even slower. I'll have to try again later and see if I just got a particulary bad connection.

I tried it on a dial-up machine here and I think it worked just fine. Amazingly. So, hopefully, you just got a one-time slow connection.

Yes, it's much better now. Dial-up is still the pitts, but this time I got a better connection and things are moving much better.

I am very impressed at all the work you guys have accomplished here. The site is really coming along quickly now and it looks great.
