Helping stray cats stay warm during winter

I was just on Tumblr and came across this great post on how to help stray cats stay protected from the harsh winter weather.
The basic idea is you take a 30 gallon plastic tote and cut a hole wide enough for a cat to fit through into one of the shorter sides.
Then you insert a Styrofoam cooler in it and cut a hole to match the hole in the tote, add straw, and put the lids on it.

They also have a similar idea for a water/food station.
