Update!! Natasha is going into surgery Tuesday morning :) Her eye is not getting any better and it actually burst :( so our vet told us that it would be the best decision. She also said that she's is probably in pain righ now, and having it remove will be a relief for her.
Also my 1 year old rescue beagle ( Sophia) is getting spayed on Tuesday morning, what a way to spent my vacations!!!
Thank you again for all the help !!!!!! :)

Thank you so much for the update and I am SO glad to hear that Natasha will have her eye surgery ! Hip,hip HOORAY !! I am sorry though, that it burst...man, that must of been awful ! Poor sweet baby....Tuesday will certainly be a full day at the vet's office, your precious animals will be in our thoughts and prayers come Tuesday for sure !

P.S. Were you able to find a better price than what you posted earlier ? ( $800.00-$1000.00)

My baby just got out of surgery and she's doing fine!!! I just got a call from the vet, she did fine with the anesthesia and should be ready at 4:30 :)
The only thing is that she had been tilting her head and kinda lethargic for a couple of days, they hope is because of her eye, they found some kind of matter and she's sending it to the lab ( free of charge) to make sure is nothing serious.
I'm so relief!! I even had a beer @1 pm cause the stress was killing me! And I don't drink!!!! :)
Can't wait to see my little butter ball, my husband was super worried also and now we can smile again. Amazing how much love this little animals can inspire.

Oh yeay! I hope there is nothing serous with the head tilt. Are they going to prescribe an antibiotic just in case? I'm so glad you decided to get this done. She will perk right up once she is recovered, my rabbit did.

And yes, our vet worked with us and did the surgery for $400, I don't know if it was because of my tears or what!! I was willing to do a payment plan, but since she owns the practice she was able to help us. Can I just say that Dr. Huntington ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats and well wishes for a fast recovery. I too hope that they will be giving an antibiotic. Dont forget to ask for a probiotic so her tummy doesn't get upset. Ben-bac is a good one that your vet "should" have on had if they do a lot of bunnies.

We would LOVE to see pics of your piggy babies! We love pictures! Hehe

Your vet sounds wonderful! If there's an exotic vet link on here, you might want to post their info.

I'm very sad to say that our little Natasha didn't make it, apparently she had a tumor. She passed in my arms this morning, we stayed with her all night, she slept in my arms and we talked to her all night, she would move around and walk a little. But she was a lethargic as before, the vet wanted us to keep her and let her go to sleep with us, since her vital signs were fine and her breathing was also. And I thank her for it, she told us to come back at 8 to put her down if nothing had changed, but as if Natasha knew at 7 she put her head up and looked at me, that was it, she was gone but forever in our hearts.
Thank you for all the support and hopefully I will feel better and my eyes will stop watering in the next few days, she was my first pet as an adult, I love her so much, my husband is so sad as she was his favorite. But life goes on, and today is my daughters bday, Alexa is 10, so now is time to keep enjoying my other 2 cavies and our little dog.

Lovemybabies, I am so sorry to hear that Natasha passed to the Rainbow Bridge .... You are such a wonderful cavy Mommy and I know that she felt the comfort of your love through the end. I am so grateful that you shared her story and life with us.
