do you have any animals at your house? was there anyone or anything, (animals) in your house when you were gone?

First call the vet to see if there is an emergency #given on the recording. If there is call it.

It's hard to tell what exactly is wrong. Could he have gotten into some sort of poison...maybe something got dropped or pulled into his cage? Could he have gotten at a plastic bag near his cage? check it all out to be sure.

Try to get him to eat some pellet mash out of a syringe, dropper or off a spoon. Mix water with some pellets to make a mash. You can add some veggie babyfood if you have it. Try to get him to eat. If he stops eating entirely his system could shut down.

Check him over gently for injuries. Is he limping or sore? Is his stomach swollen? Has he had any eating problems before? What is his normal diet? These are questions we need answers to to help you more until you can get him to a Vet. Any further info you can think of will help.

the balnket i put on the cage a night for warmth was a little ont he cage and it has a plastic pice to it... could that be it? could it be like heat stroke? he is eating grass... and kinda whining sorta... no number avaliable

If it was hot while you were gone it could be heat stroke. Whatever you do don't put him in cold water! Instead use a cool, damp cloth and wipe him down gently. Face, ears, paws, belly, anus.

Check the blanket to see if it was chewed. It's possible he ate some of it.

The fact that he is eating grass is good.
